Faculty Leads
Nancy Guerra (Ed.D., Harvard University) is a Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine and served as the Dean of the UCI School of Social Ecology from 2016-2021. Her research focuses on preventing youth violence and promoting healthy youth development.
Paul Piff (Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine. His primary interests are in how social hierarchy, economic inequality and social class, and social emotion shape relations between individuals and groups.
