Former U.S. Ambassador to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons John Cotton Richmond visited the Blum Center last week. At a luncheon with community leaders, he emphasized how academic research plays a key role in catalyzing the anti-trafficking movement.

Ambassador Richmond also highlighted how social movements are often led by small groups that are passionately pursuing justice.
