Project: Climate Change and Indigenous Peoples: Narrative Analysis

Major: Environmental Science and Policy

Why the Blum Center? I took Professor Matthew’s Sustainability class during my first year at UCI, and I knew immediately that this was something I had to be a part of. Since then, I’ve been interning at the Blum Center and learning more about all the challenges our earth faces in terms of climate change. Working as a Research Assistant this year has been very rewarding and I’m excited to see our project progress.

Why this project? As an Environmental Science and Policy major, I spend a lot of my time studying the earth and how it is reacting to climate change. This project was unique to me because we’re examining climate change and its impact on people.

What’s next?Moving forward, I hope to go to law school and pursue a career in Environmental Law.
