The UCI Brain Dialogue series is a monthly forum that brings together researchers studying one phenomenon from various perspectives. Events will include 10-minutes presentations from 3-4 invited speakers, followed by a moderated discussion and Q&A. This series is designed for both academics and the public.
Part one of the series focuses on compassion. Speakers include:
- Richard Matthew, Professor & Director of the Blum Center for Poverty Alleviation
- Nancy Guerra, Dean of the School of Social Ecology and Professor of Psychological Science
- Sherine Hamdy, Associate Professor of Anthropology
- Julian Thayer, Distinguished Professor of Psychological Science
