The UC Big Ideas Grand Prize Pitch Day and Awards Celebration brings together the entire UC Big Ideas community to recognize the most outstanding innovations of 2020-2021. This annual highlight of the Big Ideas Contest is an exciting event that will provide attendees with opportunities to learn about the biggest Big Ideas being developed by students from across the University of California system.
All of the 2021 Big Ideas award-winning teams will be on hand to pitch their innovative ideas. The top six teams will vie for top honors and the $10,000 Grand Prize at the annual Big Ideas Grand Prize pitch competition. Following the Grand Prize pitches, seven other Big Ideas award-winning teams will quick pitch their ideas and those in attendance will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite project in the People’s Choice Award pitch competition.
Winners of the Grand Prize and People’s Choice Award will be recognized during the Awards Celebration remarks at the conclusion of this exciting event!
