Stacey Morales is pursuing a B.A in Urban Studies and a Minor in Global Sustainability. She is currently working as the EarthReps Internship Coordinator at the Global Sustainability Resource Center. She has participated in the UCDC program and interned at the Center for International Environmental Law under the Human, Land and Resources sector. As an Early Warning Systems intern, she learned more about how the environment and land are both inter-connected and how indigenous and minority groups are often the most vulnerable. As a result of this experience, she is now considering a graduate degree in the field of international human rights and the environment. She loves to travel, and participated in a semester abroad in Italy and Spain where she interned at the Sociedad Espanola de Ornitologia in Madrid, Spain. In that internship, she worked under the Urban Biodiversity sector and was responsible for researching ideas to implement green space throughout the City of Madrid.
