Anteaters Take Action!

Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week

November 11-18, 2023

A collaboration of campus units, student groups, and community organizations, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (HHAW) is one facet of UCI’s efforts to support the needs of its students, faculty, staff, and community. Part of a nation-wide initiative, HHAW aims to raise consciousness of the resources available and ways in which the UCI community can get involved.

From 2016-2022, HHAW efforts across campus have resulted in over 60 events collaboratively helmed by 25 departments and student organizations. Events range from film screenings and panel discussions to service opportunities and resource outreach. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the entire Anteater community are invited to learn more and take action throughout the week.
